Discover how to have fun this holiday season and how to enjoy shopping for the discount electronics that are so popular on Christmas lists this year. Whether it’s a laptop, netbook, macbook, dell, iPad, iPhone, iPod, mp3 player, Garmin GPS navigation system, or even a 42 inch flatscreen HDTV TV, you can find it using this handy holiday shopping guide.
Are you stressed this holiday season? Are you wondering, how to have a fun holiday season. There’s a lot of other people wondering how to have a fun holiday season, too. Keep reading to find out what you can do to have a fun holiday season.
Black Friday standing in line
If you really want to have a fun holiday season this year and you enjoy the rush of holiday shopping, you can join the crowds that stand in line, hours before black friday events at stores like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and other big box stores, in order to get the cheapest laptop, tablet pc, ipad, ipod, iphone, mp3 player, or the latest cell phones.
If you find yourself behind a shopping cart, wandering the aisles of Wal-Mart or Target or Best Buy this holiday season, looking for that discount must-have electronic item, you’re not alone. There’s millions of others looking for that same electronic gadget, or some similar gadget that might bring a few minutes or few hours of joy to that special someone.

It’s nice to feel a kinship with all of the other people pushing shopping carts around. Keep shopping. It’s really important to keep buying stuff.

Starbucks and their $5 coffee drinks
While you’re shopping, make sure to visit Starbucks and spend $5 on burned coffee that’s been sitting in the roaster for 4 hours, becoming more rancid by the minute. Yes, drink that coffee, with the beans that have been grown overseas by workers who earn pennies an hour.
Some 40,000 agricultural workers die from exposures to pesticides every year.
Pesticides linked to infertility, depression, birth defects.
Is coffee good for you? Is coffee healthy?
If you’re a coffee drinker, stop drinking coffee. I know you’ve probably heard that it’s good for you because it contains antioxidants, but antioxidants can be found in fruits and vegetables, and coffee is basically a poison, that’s why you get those jittery feelings after you drink it, because you’re body is trying to get rid of it.
While you’re drinking that $5-cup-of-coffee, understand that the coffee beans are safe for your health, because they’ve been sprayed by coffee farmers with pesticides that are so dangerous they’ve been declared illegal to use in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
These pesticides get shipped overseas and sprayed on crops there. Even the coffee workers are getting sick. But hey, at least you’re supporting them getting paid their 15-cents an hour by drinking that coffee.
If you like coffee and want to support coffee farmers that do not use pesticides on their coffee crops, visit this website.

Are you a Starbucks hipster?
Or you can go to Starbucks and spend $5 on a coffee, then pose in front like a lame advertisement, clutching your paper cup while pretending not to care, and trying to be ironic.
Keep drinking that coffee. It’s important for you to feel like you have an identity as someone who is cool, hip, as you spend $5 to put a brand name on your nameless identity. When you think about it, $5 is a lot less expensive than seeing a shrink.

Keep buying junk and supporting kids in sweatshops
When you place those boxes of electronic gadgets into the shopping cart, feel good knowing that the money you are spending is helping to support a corporation that has gone overseas. This same corporation is now putting people in the third world to work. And they’re getting paid. Of course, it’s only about 15-cents an hour.
They are getting some good hours, though–12 hours a day, standing, in a sweltering conditions and trying to limit their water intake since going to the bathroom more than three times a day means an automatic pay deduction of 1/2 hour.
A story about Wal-Mart supplier conditions – 19 hour shift, $20 a month.
Eventual destination of toys: Goodwill or the dump
When that special someone receives the gift you’ve selected for them, feel good knowing that in a few years or even sooner, that gift will no longer be used, and will end up at Goodwill, then eventually the landfill.

Keep watching TV to feel dissatisfied about your life
It’s good to watch lot of television during the holiday season and even after the holiday season, so you can find out how outdated your toy looks or how small your HDTV looks compared the newer models that are being introduced.
Television? You can call it sellavision™, because, for the most part, it’s always trying to sell you something. It’s important to be updated about the latest gadget you’re encouraged to buy in order to feel better about yourself and your life.
Race toward nothing
It’s really important to become part of the meaningless race-toward-nothing that holiday shopping has become because there’s a lot of others who are in this race, and it’s nice to know you have friends, even if you’re all competing for the same toy.
I’m sure you’ve concluded that this blog is sarcastic. I hope you get the point that you don’t have to buy into the whole consumerism thing. You have options. In an upcoming blog, I’ll tell you three things you can give as a Christmas gift that will not be returned. Thanks for reading, and Merry Christmas to you. Hugs. – kris
